Pavel Dufek, a photographer born in 1972 in Prague, Czech Republic, has a true passion for capturing life’s fascinating moments. His journey began with studio and portrait photography, but over time, he discovered his love for “live photography” – the art of documenting the vibrant essence of the streets and the heartfelt stories of people.
Pavel’s photographs possess a remarkable ability to breathe life into his subjects, sharing their emotions and connections with the world. Each image he creates encompasses a sense of genuine authenticity, beauty, and humanity that is truly awe-inspiring.
In recent years, Pavel has delved into the captivating realm of color street photography while occasionally take photographs in black and white. He embraces digital photo technology for most of his work, yet he occasionally rekindles his passion for classic film. It’s worth noting that Pavel prefers to approach his craft with a manual touch, meticulously and artfully avoiding the use of autofocus.
Furthermore, Pavel actively collaborates with fellow photographers and visual artists to curate captivating exhibitions, mesmerizing books, and catalogues that celebrate the art of storytelling through imagery.
He is a member of Neo-Dadaist association “Rozbřesk” founded in the 80s of the last century.
