Biography
Pavel Dufek, born in 1972 in Prague – Czech Republic, where live.
He started with studio and portrait photography, but after a few years he got to “live photography”, street and documentary photography.
Since 2019, he has specialized more in color street photography, but you can sometimes find new black and white ones in his work.
He mainly uses digital photo technology in his creations, but occasionally returns to classic film. But it always works manually, for example never using autofocus.
Pavel also collaborates with other photographers and visual artists in the preparation and realization of exhibitions, books and catalogues.
He is a member of Neo-Dadaist association “Rozbřesk” founded in the 80s of the last century.
